There's a console for every sound.

Find one for yours.

For every lock there’s a key, and for every sound there’s a console. One of the great strengths of the Console 1 ecosystem is its versatility – you can quickly and easily swap the included SSL 4000 E-series console for a different channel strip altogether, either across your whole mix, or even per track. So whatever sound you're making, there's a console to suit.

The epitome of transparency

Weiss Gambit Series for Console 1

Based on direct code ports of the Weiss DS1-MK3 and EQ1 mastering processors, the Weiss Gambit Series for Console 1 is the cleanest and sharpest channel strip in our line-up. It also sports exclusive features, such as below-threshold compression - exceptionally useful when, for example, exposing details in a drum bus.

The cherries on the cake are the mapped to Console 1's Drive and Character knobs. Instead of the customary, analog grunt they add on our other channel strip, they give you control over 3 distinct styles of limiting – to stay in line with that signature Weiss cleanliness.

Clean, open, and airy

Solid State Logic XL 9000 K-series

Designed to deliver quality analog sound with minimal distortion, the SSL 9000 consoles featured capacitor-free audio circuits. This means wide open, airy high frequencies, and solid, focused bass, excellent for high fidelity audiophile mixes in jazz and classical styles, as well as clean modern sounds in hip hop and electronic music.

For optional saturation, however, we modeled SSL's Variable Harmonic Drive. Introduce tasty second or third order harmonics at will, or a blend of the two, for tube-y or transistor-y colors in seconds.

Modern and aggressive

American Class A

In stark contrast, the American Class A console is a punchy, crunchy modern rock masterpiece. Based on consoles used to produce classic albums by bands like Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and many more, this is a workhorse with a gutsy sound you can't ignore.

If you're looking for bold, energetic sound, aggression, edge, and bright, crisp, modern presence, the American Class A is a must-have.

This channel strip can be used both as a Console 1 expansion and as a standalone plug-in.

The iconic British sound from the 60s and 70s

British Class A

Often thought of as a kind of luxury powerhouse of the British rock & roll sound in the 60s and 70s, the British Class A circuits give grunt, thickness, and quality to all they touch.

Based on classic original units from the time-period in question, the British Class A won't give you clinical transparency, but it'll lend your sound heaps of personality and make sure it leaps out of any speaker with its heart on its sleeve.

Natural and musical

Summit Audio Grand Channel

Reach the peak of sound quality with this silky smooth classic tube combo. The much-loved Summit Audio TLA-100A compressor combines with the sweet and sensual EQF-100 to caress your sound into shape.

The program-dependent operation of the compressor, along with the natural, musical curves of the equalizer and the earthy, woody character of the built-in saturation, make the Grand Channel a special addition to any studio. Awesome for organic, acoustic sounds with lots of lively dynamics.

Just like American Class A, the Grand Channel can be used both as a Console 1 expansion and as a standalone plug-in.
