Can I use the plug-ins included in Flow® Mixing Suite separately as VST/AU/AAX plug-ins?
Yes. The included plug-ins will show up in your DAW as separate plug-ins after installing Flow® Mixing Suite.
Can I buy Flow® Mixing Suite perpetually or run it without an active subscription?
The best way to get the full value of Flow® Mixing Suite is to subscribe. However, if you already own plug-ins included in Flow® Mixing Suite, you can still run the Flows that use those plug-ins without an active subscription. You get access to the Flow® Mixing Suite plug-in by starting a subscription, and the Flows for which you own all the plug-ins will still work even after canceling the subscription.
I own Console 1, how does Console 1 relate to Flow® Mixing Suite?
Flow® Mixing Suite includes Core Mixing Suite, selected Console 1 Channel Strips, and all Console 1-ready plug-ins from Softube. You can read more about Console 1 here.
Although Flow® Mixing Suite cannot be controlled directly from Console 1, it includes Flows that are the perfect complement to Console 1, such as high-end reverbs and delay send effects. These are perfect to load as Flows on aux channels that can be controlled using the sends in Console 1.
Can I load 3rd party plug-ins in Flow® Mixing Suite?
For the time being, no 3rd party plug-ins can be loaded in Flow® Mixing Suite.
Which Softube plug-ins can I load in Flow® Mixing Suite?
You can load almost all Softube plug-ins, except for instruments, platform products (such as Amp Room and Console 1), and guitar amps/cabs.
Can I customize the Flows, edit the signal chain, or create my own macros?
You can customize pro signal chains, use them as a jumping-off point to create your own, and create User Signal Chains completely from scratch. While you can’t create macros that control multiple plug-in parameters, you can make simplified one-to-one mappings between Flow® Controls (the macro knobs) and specific plug-in parameters. Creating a fully featured Flow® Control is more complicated, but we are considering adding full functionality in the future.
I already own plug-ins included in Flow® Mixing Suite. How does this benefit me?
If you already have perpetual licenses for some of the plug-ins included in Flow® Mixing Suite, you might already have perpetual access to one or more Flows - depending on which plug-ins you own.
To get access to the Flow® Mixing Suite plug-in and the Flows containing the plug-in you already own, sign up for a free Flow® Mixing Suite trial subscription. This will give you access to the Flow® Mixing Suite plug-in, which you can use perpetually with the Flows for which you own all the plug-ins.
If you choose to become a paying subscriber, each month you will gain credits that can be used towards purchasing perpetual licenses of the plug-ins you don't yet own, getting you closer to owning more Flows.
