Blaze Works Amplification

Introduction

Blaze Works is the brain child of amp designer Jim Johnson, or maybe it isn't. Like any rock'n'roll story worth its name, the distinction between truth and myth is fuzzy and examining the details would probably ruin the story... Anyway, there is some background information here: Blaze Works - The Story Of Jim Johnson Electronics

Blaze Works Overvolt II

The Blaze Works Overvolt II user interface

The Overvolt is Blaze Works' answer to the classic 5150 amplifier, but simplified with just a single channel. It's an amazing work horse amplifier that can go from crunchy rock sounds to metal with just the Gain knob.

Blaze Works Arc Line IV

The Blaze Works Arc Line IV user interface

Arc Line is inspired by modern British boutique high gain amplifiers. With three channels (Clean, Normal and Boost) it's easy to go from clean to high gain with a flick of a switch. The Depth control adds extra low end and fullness to the sound.

If you wish to purchase a real amplifier with a sound similar to this, we would strongly recommend you to take a look at the Dover amps. They are amazing!

German Viper 4x12 Cabinet

This metal-grill fronted Teutonic knight of a cab can definitely hold its own when it comes to high-gain riffage. Primarily about sweet mids, but also conjures up a rich low-end response.
