Known issues in Softube Central
- iLok dongle support is currently not available in Softube Central (it is available in the iLok License Manager app). This feature will be added in the future.
- The Softube On-Screen Display (OSD) app is sometimes not updated correctly on Windows. This results in a "version mismatch" error message. To update the OSD correctly:
1. Quit the Softube On-Screen Display app (important!).
2. Run the manual installer:
Softube On-Screen Display installer 2.6.38 - Some users report not being able to update Softube Central and getting "stuck in an update loop." Please make sure Softube Central is not running and then install the latest update via direct links below:
Win: https://softubestorage.b-cdn.net/softubecentraldata/softubecentral/sc3/Softube%20Central%20Setup%203.0.5.exe Mac: https://softubestorage.b-cdn.net/softubecentraldata/softubecentral/sc3/Softube%20Central-3.0.5-universal.pkg - During Update All, some products temporarily show up under the "Available" tab.
- Uninstall All/Selected: It’s currently implemented as one big bulk action which, for example, means that there’s no clear indication of progress when each product gets uninstalled.
- Auto-deactivation (on uninstall): Not implemented yet.
- Due to a previous bug, some users might find "Amplifiers" in the list of available plug-ins in Softube Central even when they do not own any of the Amp Room Suites (where Amplifiers is included). The status of the plug-in will be "Not available". It's safe to uninstall the plug-in and make sure you are running the latest Softube Central version.
