Release Notes for version 2.6.39 (Released on June 25th, 2026)

Please note that software support for Console 1 Compact was added in 2.6.38 but extended in this release.

All plug-ins:

  • Fixed an issue that prevented Enter (typically located on the numeric keypad of a computer keyboard) from being registered correctly on Windows for VST3 plug-ins.

Amp Room, Flow Mastering Suite, and Flow Mixing Suite:

  • Fixed a critical issue that could lead to saved projects and Flows/presets being recalled with the parameter list scrambled. This was especially prone to happen for projects saved with automation. The issue was introduced when adding automation support for the individual On/Off parameters in version 2.6.38.

LoadIR (available as a module in American Mainstayer, Amp Room, Amplifiers, Bass Standard Line V8, Blaze Works Amplification, Custom 100W, Flow Mixing Suite, Pacific Dual Tremolo 100W Black, Pacific Dual Tremolo 100W Silver, and Top Boost):

  • Fixed corrupted cabinet impulse response (IR) files in Daniel Bergstrand Collection and Marshall Cabinet Collection. The files have changed names which means that projects and presets saved using these files (from before they were corrupted) will seemingly have no IR loaded when recalled, but will still sound correct.
  • Fixed an issue that caused LoadIR to be unavailable unless you owned Amp Room.

Softube On-Screen Display (updated either via Console 1 System or Flow Studio Suite):

  • Fixed the installation issues we have been having when updating the On-Screen Display via Softube Central. Previously the On-Screen Display was not properly updated if Console 1 System or Flow Studio Suite was updated via Softube Central while the On-Screen Display was running. We recommend Window users to restart their computer before applying this update.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent the Cubase Direct DAW Control support from being updated correctly. This would lead to users not getting the latest Direct DAW Control updates (such as control over the Cubase Channel Strip modules added in 2.6.38) even after installing a new version of the On-Screen Display correctly.
  • Updated the installation of the Ableton Live Direct DAW Control support to take non-default User Library paths into account. Previously Direct DAW Control would not work for users who had changed their User Library path in Live’s settings unless they applied a manual workaround.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the On-Screen Display to crash after selecting Send 4-6 on a Console 1 Channel.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the On-Screen Display to deadlock on Windows if it was restarted while a DAW was running.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Display Auto feature to malfunction. This issue also prevented a hardware unit from going to sleep after showing the clock display, regardless of the "Time showing clock before sleep" setting.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the window position of the On-Screen Display to be reset when the application was restarted.
  • Fixed an issue preventing custom images to be shown on Console 1 Fader Mk III screens.

Flow Mastering Suite and Flow Mixing Suite:

  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash if a user loaded a signal chain in Flow Mastering Suite or Flow Mixing Suite with Equalizers and the same EQ in both Equalizers and in the signal chain outside Equalizers simultaneously.
