Update: This issue has now been fixed; please update to version 2.6.10 of Chandler Limited Germanium Compressor.
Turning the Feedback knob all the way down to 0 can result in a sudden and loud audio spike, followed by the signal being muted.
We will try to fix this issue as soon as possible. In the meantime, we strongly recommend avoiding setting the Feedback knob to 0. As an additional safety measure, you may want to insert a Limiter immediately after the plug-in to help prevent potential damage to speakers or hearing.
