Using two different technologies, Pro Tools Scripting SDK and Pro Tools HUI we can now control all tracks, including those without a Console 1 plug-in in Pro Tools 2024.6 and higher. For more information on getting started please see the Console 1 Mixing System Mk 3 manual.
Track selection and “limited tracks” are available for all versions of Console 1 hardware. This includes solo/mute, name, number and color. HUI is enabled with Console 1 Fader Mk III. For more detailed information, please see the DAW Compatibility Chart.
Known issues
Conflict with HUI and EUCON: Metering on a HUI surface will not be available if EUCON has been enabled.
Since DAW Control requires Pro Tools 2024.6 or higher, we recommend turning DAW Control Off in the Console 1 settings and handle track numbering manually for users running an earlier version of Pro Tools (track number was supported with 2023.6).
