How do I activate my upgrade?

 

If you've bought an upgrade, the license will be listed as "Deposit Pending" in your Softube and iLok accounts. Upgrades are activated via the iLok License Manager app (which can be downloaded for free from ilok.com). Run the iLok License Manager app, log in to your iLok account, right-click your newly purchased upgrade license, and select "Activate". 

This will prompt you to complete the activation by surrendering the license(s) required for the upgrade. Please remember to deactivate those license(s) at all previous locations before you activate your upgrade. 

 

Please note: If, when trying to surrender your license(s), the "Complete" button is greyed out, this means that the license(s) has not been de-activated from all other locations, other than the one you are doing the surrendering on. 

If the license(s) you are trying to surrender is/are activated on a machine you no longer have access to, please note that you can submit a request to reset your activations directly via the iLok License Manager app (on version 5.5.0 and newer). You can do this by right-clicking the location in question and choosing "Report as unusable" from the menu. If you don't have the iLok License Manager app installed you are of course more than welcome with your request ticket as usual.  

 

Please note: if your iLok account has been created for you automatically when signing up for your Softube account, you will need to set up a password for your iLok account in order to complete the license activation described above. 

Please go to ilok.com, and select "Sign in" followed by "Forgot your User ID or password?". Finally, click the "Reset your password" button, enter your iLok user ID (which will be the same as your Softube user ID), and follow the instructions to set a password.
