Console 1 Connectivity issue in Logic Pro on macOS Sonoma (14) and Sequoia (15)
We are currently investigating a connectivity issue that seems related to macOS Sonoma, Sequoia, and Logic. Symptoms include freezing of the OSD or resetting of parameter values.
We don't have many details as we have yet to pin down the cause of this issue, but we think that this could be a network error, possibly related to IPv4 and IPv6 communications and/or firewall and security settings. Since we haven’t been able to reproduce it in-house, we can’t confirm that.
Troubleshooting suggestions:
Try turning the firewall off and on again. This seems to help in a few cases.
In the meantime, we will keep investigating. We will update this article as soon as we have any news.
Console 1 loses connection in big projects
Some users report that when using Console 1 in big projects, the Console 1 On-Screen Display sometimes loses connection with the Console 1 plug-ins in the project. There is a workflow that could help you avoid the problem, and that is to create all the tracks you need and then add the console 1 plugins as the first thing you do. This should let you have more tracks without losing connection.
