July 2010

Oscar and Arvid busy at work...

We're a little early with our July newsletter this time but we couldn't hold on to the news! The Tonelux Tilt is released today, be sure to check it out here below. Also, in our last newsletter we told you that we've signed really cool development deals, we're still keeping those secret... However, we can reveal that we just signed a deal with Summit Audio!

Don't forget to enter the competition below!

Tonelux Tilt Released With Intro Bundle Offer!

Go from shimmering bright to warm and wide with a twist of a knob! The Tonelux Tilt plug-in is a fast and easy way of making a track sit better in a mix or to make it sound "warmer" or "cooler".

Apart from featuring the famous Tilt control the Tilt plug-in comes with some new features. A special "Live" version of the Tilt plug-in is included which is optimized for the Digidesign VENUE system. The Tilt also includes transformer distortion modeling which adds a subtle distortion for bass frequencies and fattens up the low end of a track.

Between today and July 18, you can purchase the Tonelux Tilt as part of a special introductory bundle together with the Trident A-Range. The price of the bundle is $279 (VST/AU/RTAS), $449 (TDM). There's also an upgrade offer for existing A-Range owners - $59 (VST/AU/RTAS), $99 (TDM). The Tilt can also be purchased separately ($99/$169).

The Softube Tonelux Tilt plug-in is a joint development effort between Softube and Tonelux designer Paul Wolff.

"The Tilt EQ, simple and clean, just like the old days..."

Paul Wolff
Designer and Founder of Tonelux

"This Tilt EQ really is a quick, one knob fixer. I'm finding it very easy to get a fast, great sounding result, and a lot of times, at festivals and such, speed is of the essence. The Loudness curve does exactly what it's supposed to as well. Cool stuff!""

John Kerns
FOH Engineer
(Sum 41, No Doubt, etc.)

Licensing Deal With Summit Audio!

We're very happy to announce that we've signed a licensing and development deal with US company Summit Audio!

"We couldn't be happier to be working with the Softube team", said David Bryce, Summit's VP of Marketing. "We have no doubt that they'll do an excellent job capturing the sound of Summit Audio, an industry standard for over 25 years".

Established in 1979, Summit Audio manufactures tube equipment for the recording, post-production, broadcast and live sound industries.
