New Videos, Ahrue Luster Interview, Release Party and More.

March 2010

We're happy to say that the Trident A-Range plug-in has gotten exactly the reception we had hoped for. It's great to see so many happy faces after all the sweat and blood that has been poured into the product.

We're not laying low and are in fact already working on new products that we hope you will like just as much (or more!). Keep an eye out here in the newsletter, at our website, on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news. Or if you're really curious, come by our booth at Musikmesse.

Trident A-Range: New Videos and Update

Curious about the Trident A-Range EQ plug-in? We've made a couple of videos to show you what it's all about. On top of that there are some great user videos out there as well, such as the one from Wiz Produxions.

Check out the Softube Youtube page for more videos!

Also, the first review of the Trident A-Range just came in. Barry Rudolph from Music Connection tried the plug-in and found himself on a trip down memory lane to his days at Cherokee Studios, where they had 4(!) Trident consoles.

Speaking of the Trident A-Range, the Windows TDM/Venue version has been updated to 1.0.3 due to stability issues. It should be running just as smooth as the other versions now.

Ahrue Luster: "Softube Destroyed My Workflow"

Need some reading for the morning coffee? If you want to know why producer and metal guitarist Ahrue Luster (Machine Head, Ill Niño) is angry with Softube and why he thinks the FET Compressor destroys the UAD and Waves CLA 1176 emulations, then we got just the article for you.

Musikmesse!

Softube rocked the US of A at NAMM! Back in Europe, it's soon time to visit our neighbors in Germany at Musikmesse. Be sure to drop by and talk synths with Oscar, play bass with Niklas and guitar with Torsten. Or why not check out our entire product line? Who knows, we might even have something new for all of you to see...

Latest Reviews

We like when people write about us! The most recent reviews (raving as usual!) comes from Computer Music, Guitarist Australia and Music Connection.

Computer Music calls the Passive-Active Pack "a great piece of work from Softube, designed with vision but also with full regard for the sound of some pretty rare kit. What's more, the price tag is considerably more modest than comparable top-flight analogue emulations."

Guitarist Australia rocked the Amp Rooms and states that "the emulations of these amps are extremely accurate" and as being "faithful to original amps that we know and love".

Music Connection calls the Tube-Tech CL 1B a "big winner", emphasizing it's usefulness on bass and lead vocals.
